Volunteer for Special Olympics
The foundation of Special Olympics organization is based on a very simple premise - people helping people. Without the commitment and dedication of volunteers like you, many of Arkansas' special citizens would never have an opportunity to realize their dreams.
Here in Arkansas these efforts are helping more than 14,000 individuals reach goals they never dreamed were possible, helping instill a sense of pride that only comes with personal achievement. Here are just some of the volunteer opportunities that are available for you at Special Olympics.
Sports Training
Work directly with athletes to improve their skills.
Sports management
Help the coaches and referees during activities and competitions.
Fundraising
Help plan or implement activities to raise funds and in-kind support.
Sporting Competition and Events
Help with short-term tasks associated with major events involving a variety of activities like booths and registration tables.
Class A Volunteer
